NICK JEFFRIES

Nick Jeffries is from Spokane Washington. He has been married for 17 years and is a proud father of two. Nick is the owner of Custom Antler Designs and co-founder of Darkhorse Expeditions.

Nick knowingly signed up for the Marine Corps during a time of war and served as an infantry man from 2003-2007. Nick has experienced PTSD and found refuge in the art of crafting antler lights. Nick met Scott Baldwin through designing a light for him and they began having conversations of their time in the Marine Corps., veterans, and their passion of the outdoors. They began talking about creating a television show that captures the success of veterans navigating life with PTSD. Scott said, “I want to tell a story to our fellow veterans that they can do it too.” Nick’s wife suggested the name Darkhorse and the name captured both Nick and Scott and that is how Darkhorse was born.
